Driving forward from deep to score 1-2, Iain Corbett occupied a central role in Limerick’s stunning Munster SFC win over Tipperary.

The joint Limerick captain certainly led by example for Billy Lee’s improving team.

Cathal McShane enjoyed a productive finish to the Allianz Football League and carried that form into the Ulster SFC.

The powerful McShane registered seven points in Tyrone’s triumph over Derry at Healy Park.

Shane Killoran made a significant contribution as Roscommon eased to victory out west against Leitrim.

Killoran blasted two fine goals for Anthony Cunningham’s outfit, who were always in control at Dr Hyde Park.
